A pumpkin coach\, Prince Charming\, a glass slipper and a dream come true are woven together with the help of the Fairy Godmother in this enchanting musical. When Cinderella’s stepsisters try to keep Cinderella from attending the ball\, the Fairy Godmother enlists the help of the Mice and the Pumpkins and is able to transform Cinderella just in time for the big event. Also featured in the production are Cleo the Cat\, Fido the Dog\, the Lords and Ladies\, the Town Criers\, the King and the Buskers. Experience the unique twist the Missoula Children’s Theatre puts on this classic story.

It’s a swirling sandstorm of famous Arabian Tales from Ali Baba to Scheherazade\, and even Sinbad the Sailor\, as Aladdin journeys to find a magic lamp in a Cave of (not-so-great) Wonders. Along his way Aladdin seeks answers and advice from wise Genies\, a powerful Sultan\, and his own Mother to find a way to meet the Princess. However\, even with the lamp in hand\, Aladdin will have to learn that it takes more than a wish to make a good impression. Full of memorable characters\, from lost Penguins to talking Palm Trees\, this is an adventure worthy of 1\,001 laughs.

DESCRIPTION:Historic Holmes Theatre\, 806 Summit Ave\, Detroit Lakes\, MN 56501\, USA \n\n\nLive music in the Detroit Lakes city park bandshell every Tuesday night at 6pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Free concert – free will donations accepted. If case of inclement weather\, concerts will be canceled (will be called by 1pm and announced on Facebook\, website\,  and local radio). \nThe Lakes Area Community Concert Band features 50+ local musicians. Experience the heartwarming melodies and infectious rhythms in a performance that celebrates the spirit of togetherness and artistic talent. Join them for an unforgettable evening\, as the passionate musicians deliver a delightful repertoire\, bridging generations through the power of music.
