The DLCCC offers people 50 and over the opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle, healthy relationships and a positive outlook on life. Active older adults live longer and have better functional conditioning. That is why the DLCCC offers the ENGAGE program options! Fun for active adults’ over 50 provides a varitey of wellness and opportunities and programs focusing on the body, mind and spirit! Interested in exploring our wonderful region but would rather not drive there? Hope on the bus! We offer bus trip opportunities during the year. Trips have included the Twins game, Minnesota State Fair, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, Festivals in Iowa and more!

The Senior Center is located in the Art Cellar on the lower level of the Holmes Theatre. There are card games, bingo, puzzles, hot meals and more. Meals are served from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Check the bulletin board for special Senior activities.
Based out of the Art Cellar, Meals on Wheels delivers 2,000 meals each month across Becker County. Our program ensures that seniors and other community members have access to nutritious meals, either delivered to their homes or enjoyed in a social setting.
Volunteer with Us!
Make a difference in your community by becoming a volunteer. Visit us at the rear entrance of the Historic Holmes Theatre, 801 Oak Grove Avenue, Detroit Lakes. You can also call DeAnn Heintzelman at 218-847-5823 between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on weekdays to learn more.

Costs: $4 per meal for individuals aged 60 and over, and $8 for those under 60.

Meals on Wheels: Enjoy the convenience of food delivered right to your door.
Senior Center: Join fellow seniors at the DL Senior Center, located in the Holmes Art Cellar, for a meal and fellowship.
