The Aquatic Center

Our Facility

Our large Aquatic Center hosts a pool, hot tub and sauna on deck as well as aquatics equipment for us during swim times. The pool is 8 lanes with an attached leisure pool that offers an easy walk in entry and play area for kids of all ages and ability levels! Our pool also offers a diving board, basketball hoop as well as a dew drop and two slides!

With a pool our size, we are able to offer many aquatics opportunities! We offer open swim and lap swim times as well as swim lessons and our Sunfish Swim Team. The Aquatics Center also hosts home swim and dive meets for the Detroit Lakes High School Girls and Boys teams. See full pool schedule or contact the front desk for open times.

Pool Schedule

Our pool hours during the school year weekdays is: 6 am – 11:00 am, 11:30 – 2:00 pm. Evening hours vary (see pool schedule). Saturday 11 am – 5:00 pm, Sunday 11 am – 5:00 pm. Watch for upcoming swim meet dates. Full pool schedule also indicates available lap swimming.

Aquatic Classes

The Center offers a variety of Aquatic Classes that are perfect for all ability levels and interests!

Adults, we offer everything from SilverSneakers style water fitness classes to water dance style classes, we have you covered! Are you interested in lap swimming with a group or would you like private lessons? Have you ever wanted to do some therapy but would prefer using the pool? We have fantastic staff who you can connect with! A wide range of opportunities are available to help you reach your aquatic fitness needs!

Youth, our pool area helps us host our Youth Swim Lesson program as well as our Sunfish Swim Team! Would you prefer individual or small group private swim lessons for your kids? We have wonderful staff available to help your kids reach their water goals!
