Packed with 8 levels of thrilling playground fun, kids will love exploring every twist, turn, and climb. From racing down slides to navigating through tunnels and scaling climbing walls, The Backyard offers endless opportunities for adventure and excitement.
Take advantage of our Kidzone child care service, perfect for parents who want to work out while their children are safely entertained. Just $30 per family/per month for our members or $5 per child/per hour (2-hour max), this service allows you to focus on your fitness goals, participate in group classes, or enjoy other amenities at The Center without worry.
Join us from June through mid-August at Detroit Lakes City Park for free play, available from 9 AM to noon and 1 PM to 4 PM. Kids can enjoy activities like ping pong, tennis, t-ball, crafts, and games in a safe, supervised environment. This program helps children stay active, learn new skills, and make friends, offering peace of mind for parents. Come and be part of the summer fun!

If you have an artistic or creative child this is the place to be. The Holmes Art Cellar has various programming for both children and teens meant to help spark early creativity and provide new and exciting projects to young artists. Come have fun, be messy, and get creative!
Every summer the Holmes Theatre offers theatre camps for our area youth. From our month-long musical theatre camp to week-long camps with Missoula Children’s Theater, there are many options for your child to experience the theatre either on stage or behind the scenes. Summer 2025 camps will be announced in the spring!
Experience the magic of theatre! We have some great family-friendly shows at the Holmes this season. The Pack Drumline, Cirque Mechanics Pedal Punk, and Terrance Simien are great options for exposing your child to enriching, multicultural performances.
Our Mother’s Nursing Room provides a quiet, comfortable space for moms to nurse or pump. Equipped with cozy seating and privacy features, it’s designed to ensure you feel relaxed and at ease. Your comfort and convenience are our top priorities.
