DESCRIPTION:Historic Holmes Theatre\, 806 Summit Ave\, Detroit Lakes\, MN 56501\, USA \n\n\nRegister your student for our week-long Missoula Children’s Camp. For students entering 1st grade thru 12th grade. \nTHIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT \nJoin Aladdin as he ventures into a swirling sandstorm of famous Arabian Tales. Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students\, grades entering 1st grade through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students rehearse approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day\, Monday through Friday. Performances are scheduled for Friday\, July 31 at 6:00 PM and Saturday\, August 1 at 10:30 AM. ALADDIN is part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented by the Historic Holmes Theatre. // For more information call 218-844-7469.

It’s a swirling sandstorm of famous Arabian Tales from Ali Baba to Scheherazade\, and even Sinbad the Sailor\, as Aladdin journeys to find a magic lamp in a Cave of (not-so-great) Wonders. Along his way Aladdin seeks answers and advice from wise Genies\, a powerful Sultan\, and his own Mother to find a way to meet the Princess. However\, even with the lamp in hand\, Aladdin will have to learn that it takes more than a wish to make a good impression. Full of memorable characters\, from lost Penguins to talking Palm Trees\, this is an adventure worthy of 1\,001 laughs.
