Auditions for Annie The Musical!

The Holmes Community Theatre Announces AUDITIONS for ANNIE!

Director: Michael Burgraff; Music Director: Blake Weitzel

Audition dates: November 22^nd and 23^rd

Show dates: March 5th-8^th

Rehearsal schedule: Sun. afternoons, Mon/Tues/Thurs after-school & evenings beginning Jan. 4^th. Plus four preliminary rehearsals Dec. 9, 11, 15 & 16. Not all actors will be needed for every rehearsal.

NEEDED:

Actors: Adult and Non-adult (grades 3 & up) See important Audition instructions below and sign up for an audition slot!

Back-stage crew

Tech team

Props team

Costumes team

Stage Manager

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:

*Fill out attached audition form and bring it with you to your audition: AUDITION FORM Annie

PREPARE:

All Actors age 15 & older: prepare to sing 16 bars of a song from any Musical other than ANNIE.

Boys age 14 and under: prepare to sing 16 bars of “Gary, Indiana” from THE MUSIC MAN: YouTube link here

Girls age 14 and under: prepare to sing 16 bars of “Tomorrow” from ANNIE: YouTube link here

All: you will need to bring your own recorded back-up track or accompanist to the audition, or plan to sing a cappella.

We will hear your song, and we’ll also have you read scenes from the play with other actors.
