SUMMARY:Charlie Parr
DESCRIPTION:Historic Holmes Theatre\, 806 Summit Ave\, Detroit Lakes\, MN 56501\, USA \n\n\nJoin us for the 2nd Annual Live Limitless Concert featuring Charlie Parr! \nCharlie Parr is a folk troubadour in the truest sense: taking to the road between shows\, writing and rewriting songs as he plays\, fueled by a belief that music is eternal and cannot be claimed or adequately explained. The bluesman poet pulls closely from the sights and sounds around him\, his lyrical craftsmanship built by his influences. Parr has released 14 studio albums and tours legendary venues around the globe. But he hasn’t moved to LA or Nashville; he’s stayed in the cold grey north of Minnesota\, because that’s his home. \n$50 TICKET – Purchase here \nAll proceeds will benefit Diane Lundmark. Diane suffered a C5-6 spinal injury and is paralyzed from the chest down.

SUMMARY:Crazy for You - PERFORMANCES
DESCRIPTION:Historic Holmes Theatre\, 806 Summit Ave\, Detroit Lakes\, MN 56501\, USA \n\n\nCome see our area youth perform Crazy for You! \nCrazy for You: Youth Edition is an adaptation of the ebullient romantic comedy featuring cowboys\, showgirls\, high-energy production numbers\, and a glorious score from George and Ira Gershwin. In Deadrock\, Bobby falls for spunky Polly Baker\, the theatre owner’s daughter. But Polly takes an instant dislike to the city slicker\, so Bobby vows – through cunning\, razzmatazz\, and a hilarious case of mistaken identity – to win Polly’s heart and save the theatre. Memorable Gershwin tunes from the score include “I Got Rhythm\,” “They Can’t Take That Away from Me\,” “Embraceable You\,” “Nice Work if You Can Get It” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.” \nPerformance Dates: Thursday\, June 25 at 7pm; Friday\, June 26 at 7pm; and Saturday\, June 27 at 1pm \nTickets: Adults $12 and Students $7 \nTICKETS HERE
