The Historic Holmes theatre is located at 806 Summit Avenue, Detroit Lakes, Minn. It is two blocks south of Highway 10 on Summit Ave., and 2 blocks west of Washington Square Mall.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul

It is approximately 3 ½ hour northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

  1. I-94 to Hwy 10 (Clearwater Exit)
  2. Hwy 10 west to Detroit Lakes
  3. Pass the lake and two traffic lights (Roosevelt & Washington Avenues)
  4. Shortly after Washington Avenue, turn left onto Summit Avenue (Subaru car dealership on corner)
  5. Two blocks south to theatre

From Fargo/Moorhead

It is approximately 45 miles east of Fargo, N.D.

  1. West on Hwy 10 to Detroit Lakes
  2. Cross over Hwy 59
  3. Turn right at the first right (Summit Avenue).
  4. Two blocks south to theatre
