Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra

Musical Hors D'Oeurves

Indulge your senses with a delicious evening of fine (and fun) music and cuisine. The musical program, “From Debussy to Disco – Dancing through the 20th Century,” will feature a string quartet, harp and string bass. All the pieces are drawn from dance themes and rhythms – including Debussy’s “Sacred and Profane Dances” for harp and string quartet, string quartet tangos by Astor Piazzolla, an original piece titled “Sonata a la Blues” by bassist Alex Pershounin, and even a few disco and rock tunes arranged for string quartet.

Treat yourself to an evening with musicians from the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, including:
Viotti String Quartet – violinists Alison Wallace and Justin Hayes, violist Tim Nelson, cello Alyssa Miller
Harp – Sarahlyn Robinson-Scott
Bass – Alex Pershounin

Hors D’Oeurves pre-party beginning at 6:00 p.m.

“I was amazed at the high quality of the entire ensemble. If you have the chance to see the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony…do yourself a favor and buy tickets. You’ll be amazed!”
