Youth Fun Run Obstacle
We’ve all seen the fun obstacle courses that the adults can do- now let’s challenge today’s youth! There will be a 1/2 mile obstacle course for 4-8 yr. olds & a 1 mile course for 9-14 yr. olds. Spend a few hours getting dirty & having fun!

Ages 13+ Spend your summer with the DLCCC Summer Day Camp and learn about caring for youth ages 5-12.
This leadership training program will give you the skills needed to someday become a DLCCC Summer Day Camp or Summer Rec staff.
Personal growth, confidence-building, managing responsibility, developing activities and organizing events are all skills you will learn.

Throughout the summer, we will be incorporating exercises to assist our local youth in bettering their presidential fitness scores!
The DLCCC Summer Day Camp features an action-packed daily schedule that incorporates physical activity, field trips and outdoor time, all in a safe environment. The program is led by qualified instructors. Kids will enjoy crafts, sports, gym time, swimming, reading/story time, play in the “Backyard” giant indoor playland and much more. Two snacks are provided each day. Children must bring their own lunch.
*Targeted services (Summer School) available to continue your child’s education throughout the summer.

DLCCC AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The DLCCC’s After School Program offers a variety of fitness and arts-related activites for children in grades K-6. Gym, pool and theatre activities are offered weekly, as well as elective activities. Busing provided from Roosevelt and Rossman. Snack included! Contact Becky at Ext. 117 or becky@dlccc.org.

Youth Swim Team School
If your kids love to swim and you want them to keep working on their swimming strokes, this is the group for them! Swimmers willw ork on the primary competitive swimming storkes: Backstroke, Freestyle (front crawl), Breaststroke and Butterfly. Swimmers will have an opportunity at the end of each session to participate in an inter-squad swim meet and if they are interested in competing in swim meets in neighboring communities, they can join the Sunfish Swim Team at any point in the session!
Recommended swimmers complete Level 3

Mighty Strikers Soccer

Tiny Tikes: Ages 3-5 * Mid Mites: Ages 6-7 * Big Beans: Ages 8-9
This is a development program to give each player plenty of touches on the ball (bring your own soccer ball- TT size 3 and BB size 4). Each team will require parent volunteers to coach and assist teams. Teams are run by parent involvement. A parent meeting & volunteer in-service is scheduled for Monday, June 3, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the M State conference room to inform parents on the rules of soccer, hand-out schedules, picture packages and t-shirts, address issues parents may have pertaining to soccer, parking, safety and the use of the new Rotary Soccer Park located just north of M State. Any questions at that time can be answered by David Carter.
