The Holmes Ballroom located at the beautiful Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes is the perfect location for your wedding reception, party, banquet, reunion or other special occasion. The Ballroom can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 400 people. The unique facility combines the elegance of yesterday with the modern amenities of today.
The Holmes Ballroom features a beautiful wood floor, air conditioning; soft lighting and a wonderful warm feeling that will make your gathering stand out from the rest. We also have a great staff that is here to help make your event PERFECT.
We can coordinate details such as: food, decorating, set up and entertainment for you so that your day is as stress free as possible. If you wish to coordinate the details yourself, we will work with you to make sure that everything goes according to your plan.
We work with many area caterers, restaurants and grocery stores in order to help you plan the best event for your budget. A full commercial kitchen is available for use by licensed caterers. We have storage facilities, including refrigeration space, dishes, silverware and other decorations available.
For your Audio/Video needs, we have the Holmes Theatre Technical staff and equipment available. We also work with many area DJ’s, bands and other entertainers.
